European football tips, football

Borussia Dortmund to beat Stuttgart @ 1.39

Dortmund, without injured striker Erling Haaland, will be looking to bounce back from their away defeat at RB Leipzig before the international break. BVB are second in the Bundesliga table, four points behind leaders Bayern Munich, and have immaculate home form this term. They have won all six league games at Signal Iduna Park, scoring 19 goals. Stuttgart are fourth bottom, one point above the relegation places, and are winless in four league outings. They have lost their last two matches, to two teams in the bottom three, and have a terrible record on the road, failing to win any of their five matches this campaign.

AC Milan to win at Fiorentina @ 2.25

AC Milan are unbeaten and second in the Serie A table, behind Napoli only on goal difference, after winning 10 and drawing two of their 12 matches. One of their draws came last time out in the Milan derby, but they have won their previous four on the road in the league. Fiorentina are seventh following a run of five defeats in eight league matches. They are stronger at home, securing four victories from six outings in all competitions, but have lost to leaders Napoli and third-placed Inter so look worth taking on in our European football tips.

Sevilla to beat Alaves @ 1.44

Two in-form sides go head to head in La Liga. Sevilla are third, one point off leaders Real Sociedad after losing only once this campaign. They are unbeaten in five league matches, winning four including their last two. Home advantage will be vital and Sevilla are a force to be reckoned with in front of their own fans, winning all five league matches. Alaves are in good form but are still only 14th in the table and just two points above the relegation zone.

PSV Eindhoven to beat Vitesse Arnhem @ 1.39

This is another big game in the Eredivisie where PSV are level on points with leaders Ajax, who they lost 5-0 to during a run of four wins in five league matches. Eindhoven have won their last three at home. Vitesse are fifth after an identical run to Eindhoven, where they travel to with four wins on the spin on the road. They have only netted six times in those matches, in contrast to PSV’s 10 in three on home soil, so the hosts may just shade it.

Sporting Braga to beat Santa Clara @ 1.32

This looks like easy cup progression for Braga in the Taca de Portugal and they are the last of our European football tips for Saturday. Braga are fifth in the Primeira Liga, but lost 6-1 to Benfica last time out as their five-match unbeaten run in all competitions ended dramatically. They have won their last two at home and face a Santa Clara side that sit bottom of the table with one win and have lost four of their previous five away games.
